At last you can get your hands on Digital Extreme's latest FPS, Pariah. This single-player demo starts you off in the first level of the game, with a range of difficulty settings allowing you to get a feel for your level of play before the final release arrives. Make sure you make use of the weapon upgrades, Pariah's key gameplay feature. The PCGA CD will generally feature our lead demo so all readers can access it, but because demos these days usually fill a CD quickly, everything large will generally be on the DVD. If you don't own a DVD drive, it may be time to consider purchasing one, as several publishers are moving to releasing games on DVD-ROM now due to the massive amounts of data today's video cards can deal with.

Is someone at last going to give the Creative Assembly a run for their money in the wargame simulation gaming circuit? Imperial Glory from Pyro looks to be one of the first games to contest the point since Rome: Total War won the strategy gaming world over last year. Doesn't include the naval combat we're all dying to check out, but it does include footage of these aspects of play.
Not dissimilar to the sort of action Dan experienced when he recently went hands on with the game at Redmond. Something to start saving for, this plays as good as it looks.
